Job summary

Federated Co-ops Inc. Rush City Country Store is seeking an Equipment Operator / Custom Applicator to run a custom application unit for crop protection products and nutrients. You’ll maintain equipment, support shop operations, and assist in all co-op duties when not operating the applicator.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of ag applications experience, CDL/endorsements, and a Commercial Applicator's License; Class A is a plus. Strong safety and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in agricultural chemical applications.
• Valid Class D license; ability to obtain Class B CDL and tanker endorsements.
• Commercial Applicator's License; Class A license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate large modern application equipment and deliver pesticides/fertilizers.
• Perform equipment maintenance in the shop and assist in all operations.
• Load/unload, mix, and apply products; maintain records and compliance.
• Drive fleet trucks as needed; scout fields for weed/insect issues.
• Communicate professionally with producers, sales, and location manager.
