Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking custodians for Lowndes County, GA. This is a full-time or part-time evening position on the 2nd shift, aligned with school hours. The role also covers weekend and summer duties, reporting to an Account Manager.

The job offers competitive hourly pay and a path to stable facilities management work for institutions. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintenance support, and proactive tasks to ensure spotless facilities.

Qualifications

• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, wipe tables, empty trash cans immediately outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, plunge sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Be PROACTIVE.
• Complete work requests to notify management/admin of needed repair work, reliable and accountable.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
