Job summary

Weinberg Gifted Academy in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a Custodian for the PM shift. The position is full-time with a starting base pay of $19.01 per hour and a schedule from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, 12 months per year and benefits including PTO, retirement, health, life insurance, wellness, and growth credits.

Responsibilities include floors care, cleaning, minor repairs, movement of furniture, light maintenance, and safety inspections.

• Satisfactory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash receptacles.
• Perform minor repairs.
• Move furniture and equipment based on the needs of the facility.
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor maintenance.
• Inspect all fire equipment on campus and maintain records of inspection.
• Report safety/security hazards and needs for major repairs in an expeditious manner.
• Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Handle emergency custodial duties for principals, teachers, and staff.

Physical Requirements – Heavy Work:
