Responsibilities

Our Poynette manufacturing facility is hiring for a seasonal full-time 2nd shift Custodian and Waste Disposer.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM + shift premium

Hourly Rate: $19.53

Qualifications

The Custodian and Waste Disposer is responsible for organizing, sorting, and removing scrap and waste materials from production. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness on the production floor. Candidates must be able to work independently, often using a forklift and floor scrubber.

Typical duties include emptying trash bins, loading scrap trailers with a forklift, weighing and loading metal bales, and cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, or shoveling. Loading dumpsters is also required.
