Summary:

Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties under the direction of Lead custodian, Supervisor, or Manager. Duties include complete cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, corridors, public rooms, offices, service, or other designated areas as needed.

Candidate must be committed to consistently following and embodying the Baystate Health System Service Standards and Values: role modeling, maintaining a positive attitude, team building, and practicing good communication skills. The candidate should take accountability for their actions and interact positively with patients, families, and caregivers in a calm, caring, professional manner, respecting the comprehension level of patients and/or families.

Job Responsibilities:

2. Maintain flexibility, organization, and prioritize work effectively.
3. Work collaboratively in a team environment with coworkers and unit staff.
