Job summary

Goodwill Staffing is a division of Goodwill of Colorado that seeks dependable temporary Custodian/General Laborers in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas to perform cleaning, facility maintenance, and related tasks at client sites. This temporary role supports multiple clients and sites.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, moving materials, setting up and breaking down work areas, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of custodial/janitorial experience.
• Ability to stand or walk for long hours and lift 50+ pounds.
• Good interpersonal skills to assist guests and coordinate with other operations teams.
• Willingness to work variable schedule or different assignment site, as needed.

• Collect and remove trash, debris, and recyclable materials from designated areas.
• Assist with facility setup, breakdown, and movement of furniture, equipment, and materials.

• Load, unload, and transport materials as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and supervisor instructions.
• Operate basic cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns to management.
• Support special projects and general labor tasks as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete assignments on schedule.

Work Schedule: Variable

Candidates should be reliable, able to follow instructions, and capable of performing physical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for long hours, bend, squat, and lift 50+ pounds, required
• Communication Skills: Good interpersonal skills to assist guests and coordinate with other operations teams.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work variable schedule or different assignment site, as needed

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED, Preferred

Experience:

• 6 months- 1+ year of Previous Experience, Preferred
