Job summary

St. Labre Indian Catholic School is seeking a TEMP Custodian to help keep the school facilities clean, safe, and orderly. The position is non-exempt and temporary, reporting to the Custodial Supervisor.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, dusting, replenishing supplies, cleaning bathrooms and entrances, and notifying supervision of repairs or issues as they arise.

• Sweep, mop, wax, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
• Empty trash and garbage containers.
• Dust and clean cabinets, desks, and shelves; dust all surfaces.
• Refill paper towels and toilet paper dispensers.
• Clean walls, bathroom stalls, doors, and entrances; keep premises tidy.
• Disinfect toilet bowls, sinks, and water fountains.
• Maintain custodial rooms neat and secure; manage supplies.

SUMMARY

Keeps schools, gyms, offices, and work areas in clean, safe, and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

• 1. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.

• 3. Dusts, washes, and sanitizes cabinets, desks, etc.; dusts all shelves.
• 4. Fills paper towel and toilet paper dispensers.
• 5. Keeps all walls clean including bathroom stalls and mirrors; washes all doors, both inside
• 6. and outside and keeps inside entrance ways clean.
• 7. Washes and disinfects all toilet bowls, sinks, and water fountains.
• 8. Keeps all custodial rooms neat and clean.
• 9. Keeps paper supplies, garbage supplies, and cleaning solutions locked at all times.
• 10. Notifies supervisor concerning need for repairs or problems.
