Job summary

Slaton ISD Operations (Transportation, Maintenance, Custodial) in Slaton, Texas is seeking a Custodian Substitute to maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness across school facilities. This role reports to the Lead Custodian and Director of Operations and starts immediately on a substitute basis.

Responsibilities include following routine cleaning procedures, basic maintenance, and safe handling of cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: None specified.
• Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building/grounds maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

• Follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
