Qualifications

• Two years custodial experience or related building and facilities maintenance.
• Supervisory experience including assigning daily work activities and monitoring quality.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, evaluates performance, and handles promotions or disciplinary actions.
• Develops work schedules and directs daily custodial activities.
• Trains and orients new employees; conducts formal training sessions.
• Schedules vacations and coordinates coverage.
• Inspects all assigned areas and completes inspection reports.
• Evaluates and selects supplies and equipment; coordinates procurement.
• Oversees furniture relocation and equipment moves.
• Manages specialized custodial services to meet department needs.
• Maintains linen inventory and custodial supply records.
• Assists in planning procedures to improve efficiency.
• Reports damages or irregularities for repair.
• Responds to department requests and concerns regarding custodial services.
