The Mt. Prospect Park District is seeking a Part-Time Custodian for second shift on weekdays with weekend hours. The role requires driving between Park District facilities, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check.
You will work 16–20 hours per week, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour, plus facility privileges for employees. Essential duties include custodial maintenance, room setup and takedown, and reporting issues to the Facility Manager.

We are searching for a Part-Time Custodian to perform custodial maintenance of District buildings and facilities under the direction of the Parks and Planning Division Manager. This position is for second shift on weekdays, plus weekend hours. The PT Custodian must be at least 18 years old, use their own vehicle to travel between Park District facilities, hold and maintain a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a criminal background check. The PT Custodian can expect to work 16 - 20 hours a week. The starting pay for the Part-Time Custodian (driving) is $16.00 per hour. Park District employees also receive facility privileges.
The general office work area is an indoor, smoke-free environment with controlled temperature and fluorescent lighting. May be exposed to noise distractions from employees or equipment operation in work areas. Additionally, may be exposure to cleaning materials.
When outdoors, may be exposed to weather conditions including rain, sun, wind, high humidity, and excessive heat and cold. Must be able to work in inclement weather as needed.
Due to the needs of the Park District, evening and weekend hours will be required. The work schedule may vary and the work week may exceed regular hours at times, but will work less than 1,000 hours per year.
