Hours Of Work
This is a year-round part-time position at 28 hours per week. The Ford Community and Performing Arts Center operates 7 days a week. Currently, the available shifts are during midnights.

Description of Work

This position involves custodial, janitorial, setup, and light maintenance duties. Responsibilities include setting up and tearing down furniture and equipment for conferences, banquets, and theater events. The employee may receive specific assignments but is expected to achieve desired results independently. The Custodian-Lead will have additional crew leader duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Set up and breakdown tables, staging units, pipe and drape, and chairs.
• Climb at least a 6-foot ladder.
• Clean floors, restrooms, and surfaces; operate cleaning machinery.
• Maintain outdoor grounds, including snow shoveling and salting walkways.
• Report safety hazards.
• Perform related work as required.
• Demonstrate regular attendance; reliable transportation required.
