Zusammenfassung

The Sullivan University System is seeking a part-time Custodian to maintain cleanliness across campus facilities, assist with event setup, floor care, and moving furniture under supervision. Hours are Monday–Friday 1 pm–5 pm.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related experience, plus strong customer service and the ability to work evenings and weekends with minimal supervision.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Must communicate via radio for instructions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate cleaning and set-up for events.
• Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards and safety practices.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

• Aids with the set up and break down of campus events.
• Moves/transports furniture and miscellaneous items for campus events.
• Coordinates and schedules vacuuming of offices, hallways, and rooms.
• Responsible for cleanliness of floors including mopping.
• Assists with custodial related special projects.
• Wipes down walls and whiteboards.
• Cleans bathrooms throughout the day and as needed.
• Follows instructions regarding chemicals and supplies.
• Assists with custodial duties at other Sullivan University System locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a part-time Custodian. The Custodian is responsible for ensuring work is completed where assigned by all custodians in a timely fashion, as well as completing different jobs as assigned by the manager to include set ups for events, maintaining the floors of all buildings as required and the coordination of different projects relating to floors, restrooms, furniture, etc.

Hours for the position are Monday-Friday 1 pm-5 pm
