Job Title: Custodian

Location: Propel Montour Elementary

Propel Schools is seeking a Custodian for our Facilities Department. This full-time position is based at Propel Montour Elementary, available immediately, and offers a rate of $15/hr. The role is year-round.

Job Summary

Propel Schools, the largest and fastest-growing charter school network in the state, is dedicated to transforming public education to ensure high-quality education for all children. Under moderate supervision, the Custodian will perform janitorial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the school facility and grounds.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning floors, windows, furniture, and equipment
• Maintaining restrooms and supplies
• Disposing of trash
• Performing light maintenance and outside work such as mowing and snow removal

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older with reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical labor, lift at least 50 pounds, and follow instructions

Clearance Requirements

• TB Test, Criminal and FBI Clearances, Child Abuse Clearance, Hep B Vaccine, Mandated Reporter Training, Sexual Misconduct Disclosure, Arrest and Conviction Disclosure

Compensation & Benefits

• Rate: $15/hr
• Relocation allowance for moves 60 miles or more
