SUMMARY

The custodian/housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides safe and clean environment through Nexus Family Recovery Center.
• Assures all buildings on the main campus and location on Buckner Blvd. are clean and safe for staff, clients and visitors.
• Assures that the cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained, stocked, and ordered in a timely matter.
• Reports any maintenance concerns to the Chief Operations Officer.
• Assists with the upkeep of all buildings and grounds of Nexus Family Recovery Center.
• Assists on the weekend or after hours when needed.
• Demonstrates regular predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Current driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning methods and approaches.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Willing to learn other duties.
• Good verbal communications skills.
• A clear understanding of the cleaning industry standards.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
