Job Duties

• Work under the direction of immediate Supervisor and perform all duties as assigned.
• Perform all duties assigned in a timely manner.
• Accountable for all tools, equipment and supplies issued.
• Perform all duties observing safety procedures and utilizing proper equipment (safety glasses, gloves, caution tape/tags, wet floor signs, etc.).
• Responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of campus facilities.
• Assist with the movement of equipment and furniture as well as setup and tear‑down for campus functions.
• Responsible for adhering to established procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work with other personnel as assigned.
• Work on weekends, holidays, evening/nights and all other hours as required.
• Must be able to climb on ladders, work in confined spaces and other physically demanding duties.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Adhere to all college policies and procedures.

Mandatory Qualifications

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
• Valid Driver’s license and must remain in good standing while employed.
• Custodial experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with college personnel and students.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience using a floor machine, buffer or extractor.
• Three or more years of custodial experience.
• Custodial experience in an educational setting.
