Collectors Universe Inc. in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Custodian for the PM shift to maintain a clean, organized, functional, and secure building.

This onsite role runs Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm and reports to the Senior Workplace Manager. You will perform routine custodial tasks, assist in events, manage supplies, read SDS, and coordinate with Facilities and Operations to meet office needs.

We're looking for a ***Custodian*** for our **PM shift** by assisting the company with maintaining a clean, organized, functional, and secure building.This position is based in our ***Jersey City, NJ*** **office** and will report to the **Senior Workplace Manager**. *The shift schedule is Monday-Friday from 2pm-10:30pm.*****Onsite Requirement:****This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.**What You’ll Do:*** Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.* Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks* Assist in setup and breakdown of events and meetings* Work with Facilities, Workplace, and Operations to ensure office needs are met* Respond to tickets and requests from other departments* Be able to read chemical SDS (SAFETY DATA SHEET)* Other duties as assigned**Who You Are:*** Custodial experience preferred but not required* Can prioritize tasks given during scheduled work shift* Be detail-oriented with evaluating inventory of supplies* Have a strong attention to detail with custodial tasks including cleanliness and sanitation practices* Flexibility to adjust to schedule/requirement changes.**Physical Requirements:*** **Computer Use**: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.* **Hand Use**: Regular hand use for various tasks.* **Hearing Requirements:** Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.* **Lifting and Carrying:** Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds.* **Phone Answering:** Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently.* **Sitting or Standing:** Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.**Hourly Rate:** The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $19. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
