Job Position Description:

This position involves creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and grounds by performing essential cleaning duties. Other duties may be assigned:

• Perform cleaning duties using provided products, tools, and procedures (sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, moving furniture, etc.)
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE as required
• Open and lock facilities, enable/disable security systems
• Experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required; training provided
• Experience in professional janitorial services, office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools is a plus
• Must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
• Contribute positively to the team, be dependable, punctual, and maintain a uniform
• Respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
• Must communicate in English

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward; able to lift/carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products
