Description: Custodial Opportunity with Monticello Schools. This position is located at the Monticello Middle School with the hours of 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday - Friday.

The duties of our Custodial staff will include: General cleaning and maintenance striving to keep facilities and grounds in good repair.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

• Considerable ability to follow oral and written instruction, to complete daily activities according to work schedule
• Prioritize work and perform duties independently
• Driven to meet needs with a positive attitude and in a timely manner
• Effective communication and teaming skills
• Knowledge of computer and standard applications
• Willingness to be flexible and excellent attendance
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students
• Experience working with diverse students and families
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occassionally lift 75 - 100 pounds

Hourly Pay Range: $21.05 - $26.93 per the current Custodial Master Agreement 2025-2027.

Overtime Eligibility: All positions within the Custodial & Maintenance unit are eligible to elect and/or be delegated intermittent overtime assignments.

Employment with Monticello Public Schools is contingent upon a satisfactory pre-employment background check, approval of the school board, and verification of meeting qualifications listed above.
