Job summary

North Arlington School District is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian to perform building and grounds maintenance across the district. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, cleaning tasks, and ensuring safe, clean facilities for students and staff.

Requires a High School diploma; strong communication skills; knowledge of cleaning equipment; Black Seal License and CDL endorsement must be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• Experience preferred as custodian/maintenance worker.
• Knowledge of cleaning and operation of cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of building and grounds area.
• Sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, scrubbing, washing, cleaning, buffing and disposing of refuse.
• Cleaning walkways and associated duties; additional responsibilities by Building Principal.

Full-Time Night Custodian

Black Seal License required; CDL License with Passenger/School Bus endorsement (both must be obtained within 6 months of employment).

Custodial Salary Guide: $45,000-$67,930. Entitled to benefits consistent with NAEA contract
