The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Custodian at the Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Divisional Headquarters in Jackson, MS.

This is a Temporary position with custodial duties until June 6.

Job Summary: Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure neatness and cleanliness on a daily basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of general maintenance and cleaning activities. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Education and Experience: No formal education or experience required; six months of experience in general housekeeping or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Licenses and Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements, read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, stooping, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Equipment: Various cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools.
