In addition to our commercial real estate efforts, we also evaluate company acquisitions primarily in the greater Nashville, TN area.

Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance duties across two professional office buildings. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday and involves routine cleaning of common areas, restrooms, and office spaces to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities
Common Area Cleaning
  • Empty trash receptacles throughout the premises
  • Vacuum carpets and entryway rugs
  • Clean entry and exit door glass/windows
  • Mop tile and LVT flooring in entrance areas
  • Wipe down elevator walls and controls
  • Sweep stairwells and other accessible common areas
  • Dust artwork, fixtures, and indoor planters
  • Pick up trash and debris from outdoor areas such as parking lots
Restroom Maintenance
  • Empty trash bins
  • Sanitize toilet seats, bowls, and urinals
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Clean sinks and countertop surfaces
  • Refill hand soap dispensers
  • Pour water down floor drains (on a biweekly basis)
  • Wipe down walls and stall doors
Office Space Cleaning
  • Remove trash and replace liners in individual offices and break areas
  • Dust windowsills, furniture surfaces, and decorative elements
  • Vacuum carpeted areas and remove dead insects as needed
  • Clean glass surfaces and workstations
  • Wipe down kitchen countertops, sinks, and conference room tables
  • Complete floor vacuuming and mopping in designated areas during off-hours
  • Follow tailored cleaning schedules for certain tenants, including specified days and times for service
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday, typically during early mornings or off-peak office hours
Qualifications
  • Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and extended standing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists and task assignments
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation for commuting to and between assigned office locations.

This position involves indoor work across multiple floors in office environments. Custodians will use standard cleaning tools, equipment, and products, and may be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed.

Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire in an employer approved US state and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout their employment with our company.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Hourly pay range

$18 - $23 USD
