Springfield Catholic Schools System is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Custodian with Maintenance experience at Springfield Catholic High School.

Springfield Catholic Schools prepares and empowers students, in an atmosphere of academic excellence, with God's help, to be sent forth as disciples of the Catholic Faith and models of service. Springfield Catholic Schools System is made up of 3 elementary schools and 1 high school. The daytime custodian position, responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness, order, and safety of a building and its grounds by performing various cleaning tasks, managing supplies, conducting minor maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning restrooms, dusting furniture, emptying trash, and washing windows, as well as setting up for events and general maintenance issues.

Salary: includes benefits Pay: $18.85 with experience; includes sick and personal hours; insurance and 403b match. The position begins August 1, 2026.

Qualifications

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age, VIRTUS certified (provided through SCS), must be a detail-oriented, work independently with minimal supervision and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
