Job summary

Ohio Custodial Management is seeking a Custodian/Machine Operator to maintain the cleanliness of client facilities, including floors, restrooms, and common areas. The role involves operating cleaning machinery and adhering to safety standards while delivering reliable service at contracted sites.

Candidates must pass a background check, be able to operate vacuums and floor machines, and have or obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Background check, fingerprinting, and a 10-panel drug screen required.
• Able to operate mechanical cleaning equipment (vacuum, scrubber, stripper, etc.).
• Forklift operator experience preferred; forklift certification preferred.
• Able to use reasoning and judgment.
• Able to perform simple math for supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cleaning and friendly service.
• Clean floors using various methods and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize touchpoints and surfaces.
• Restock and clean restrooms.
• Inform supervisor when inventory is low.
• Operate forklift.

AboutThisRole

Custodians are responsible formaintainingthe cleanliness of the client's facility, including, but not limited to, removing trash, vacuuming, mopping, dusting,cleaningand stocking restrooms, operating forklifts and other machinery, and performing other various cleaning duties as assigned at the contracted site.

Custodian/Machine OperatorResponsibilities:

• Provide excellent service to our clients in the form of comprehensive, detailed cleaning and a friendly demeanor.
• Clean floors using various methods and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize touch points and surfaces.
• Restock and clean restrooms .
• Inform supervisor when inventory is low.
• Successfullyoperatea forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Custodian/Machine OperatorRequirements

• Successfully pass a background check, fingerprinting, and a 10-panel drug screen.
• Able tooperatemechanical equipment (i.e.vacuums, scrubbers, strippers, etc.)
• Proven experience asaforklift operator. (Preferred)
• Valid certification tooperateforklifts.(Preferred)
• Able to use reasoning and judgment
• Able to apply math skills to various custodial tasks (i.e.how much cleaning solutionneededfor area being cleaned)
• Able to communicate in writing effectively
• Ableto stand, walk, bend twist,knellat various times through theentire shift
• Ableto liftand move, up to 40 pounds
