Job summary

Associa is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Custodian to support a high-end condominium community in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role runs 20 hours per week with shifts from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, five days (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat). Daily tasks include cleaning, light maintenance, and basic grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.

• Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Walk and inspect the community for cleanliness.
• Clean assigned areas including furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds and vents.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all area floors, rest rooms and break areas.
• Clean rest room facilities and replenish supplies.
• Perform general cleaning, light floor care.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclable.
• Ensuring grounds are free of litter and debris.
• Assist with light landscaping to include maintaining flower beds, painting, etc.
• Use a blower for parking lots and stairs. Power wash areas.
• Assist with light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, painting and repair.
• Replace light bulbs, light sockets, and light fixtures.
• Assist with routine and preventative maintenance.
• Other duties as requested.

20 hours a week5 days a week to includeMonday, Tueday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, pull/push, grasp, twist, reach above shoulder, use hands and fingers, have clear vision, walk, stoop, kneel and climb.
• Must be able to work in all elements of weather conditions
