Job summary

Stillwater Area Public Schools in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Custodian/Building Engineer to maintain safe, clean facilities. Duties include assisting in cleaning and upkeep of assigned buildings and grounds to ensure operating excellence and a quality education environment for staff, students, and community members.

Requires HS diploma or GED, 2nd class boiler license, and registration as electrician within 6 months. Day shift coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2nd class boiler license required.
• Must obtain an unlicensed electrician registration within 6 months.
• Must be able to work day shift when needed to cover for Head Custodian.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and upkeep of assigned building(s) and grounds to ensure operating excellence.
• Will serve as building engineer, as needed.
• Provide a safe and clean environment for staff, students and community members.

Work Schedule: 8.0 hours per day ("A/B Shift"), Monday - Friday, 52 weeks per year

Salary: As per the Custodial Master Contract Salary Schedule Level V. The hourly rate of pay is $26.57.

Will serve as building engineer, asneeded. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 2nd class boilerlicense required. Must obtain an unlicensed electrician registration within 6 month. Must be able to work day shift when needed to cover for Head Custodian.
