Saint Paul Public Schools is seeking a custodial/maintenance worker for a 12‑month assignment at a district facility. The role focuses on interior maintenance, grounds upkeep, and mechanical systems, with supervision by a higher-level custodian or unit head.
Required are a High School Diploma or GED and a Minnesota Second Class Boiler license. Pool certification may be needed within six months where pools are present.
Performs custodial and routine maintenance work involving the interior, immediate grounds, and mechanical system of a small School District facility or a facility with limited program usage, or works under the direction of a higher‑level engineer in a larger facility; and performs related duties as required.
Works under the moderate supervision of a higher‑level custodian engineer or a unit head.
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Must possess and retain a Second Class Boiler license issued by the State of Minnesota. (No substitution for license.)
Pool Certification will be required within six months of appointment if placed in a building with a pool.
This is a 12 month position working 40 hours per week.
Pay rate for this position is: $29.81/hour.
