GRBS is seeking a Custodian Lead for the 2nd shift at Vicksburg Community Schools in Schoolcraft, MI. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The position involves leading cleaning duties, staff coordination, and ensuring building security.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with valid ID, reliable transportation, and a track record as dependable, team-oriented, and self-motivated. Michigan background checks apply for school district employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with valid ID.
• Willing to work the 2nd shift in a school setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Background restrictions apply for Michigan public schools.

Responsabilités

• Train new hires on cleaning procedures.
• Coordinate staffing and daily check-ins.
• Conduct quality checks with daily walkthroughs and photos.
• Secure the building at shift end.

We have the following school custodian opportunities available in the Vicksburg Community Schools

• Monday - Friday
  • Full Time
  • 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Building Lead Core Responsibilities-

• Train new hires how to clean buildings
• Confirm and communicate staffing
• Customer check-ins
• Ensure quality; check work, walk downs, daily pictures
• Secure the building

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

What does this job look like:

We serve our public school customers by completing the following tasks:

• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• As well as other cleaning task as assigned
