Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a dedicated custodian/janitor to create cleaner, healthier environments for customers and their spaces. The role involves cleaning duties across facilities, maintaining supplies, and adhering to safety protocols.

You will work in a team-oriented environment with flexible schedule options and opportunities for advancement. Training is provided and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures.
• Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows, cleaning, moving furniture and equipment etc..
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.
