This position is for cleaning at a facility/warehouse M-F 9am-1:30pm and an office/warehouse 2pm to finish 2 days a week (Monday and Thursday), less than 2 mins away from each other.

This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
2. Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting.
3. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
4. Use proper PPE where required.
5. Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

1. Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
2. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
3. Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
4. 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required.
5. Will provide on-the-job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
6. The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
7. Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
8. Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable, and on time.
9. Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect.
