Job summary

The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking a Custodian II for the Veterans Home of California in Yountville. This position is in the Housekeeping department and requires covering holidays and weekends to support other supervisors, with opportunities to step in as Custodian I when staff shortages occur.

New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary range of $3,841.00 to $4,808.00 per month, with a standard Monday–Friday work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Custodian II (class specification).
• Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cover holidays and weekends to cover for other supervisors.
• Fill in as Custodian I as needed when staff shortages occur.
