Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a diligent cleaning associate to maintain cleanliness across assigned areas at our properties. The role includes trash collection, carpet care, and routine cleaning with various equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cleaning experience, and the ability to stand, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Compliance with local gaming regulations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year cleaning experience preferred; knowledge of carpet and floor care, chemicals and equipment.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift; push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; pick up and remove trash and debris.
• Operate a stripping machine, frequently pulling, pushing and maneuvering a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Remove trash, clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner, broom or shampoo machine.
• Responsible for property clean up including bio-chemical material.
• Finger dexterity required and ability to stand for long periods; must push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
