Town of Gilbert is seeking a Custodian I/II for their Advocacy Center in Gilbert, AZ. The role involves cleaning offices, restrooms, and common areas, with responsibilities including waste removal, sanitation, and room setup for events. The Custodian I, II reports to the Custodial Supervisor. The primary functions of this position include:
This position is FLSA Non-Exempt and eligible for overtime compensation. Employment with the Town of Gilbert is at-will, as outlined in the Town's Personnel Policies.
This role requires afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. In addition, this position will be expected to work some holidays and/or fill in for staff shortages during the week. Some periodic flexibility is a must.

The ideal candidate will have previous custodial experience in a medical, healthcare, clinical, public safety, or similar high-use environment and understand appropriate procedures for infection prevention, disinfection, bloodborne pathogens, and handling potentially contaminated materials.
