Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care’s Environmental Services is seeking a Custodian I to maintain a safe, clean environment on campus in Iowa City. This full-time, on-campus position includes benefits and a rotating schedule, with a salary of $17.66/hour.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, cleaning/restrooms, dusting and mopping floors, wall/ceiling washing, moving furniture, and operating custodial equipment.

This position is performed fully on campus.

We as a department are responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of over 2.8 million square feet of the hospital. The department provides support through 24/7 operations.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 10:30 pm to 7:00 am with rotating weekends and holidays 10:30 pm to 7:00 am., which includes working every other weekend.

Salary:$17.66/hour
