The University of Iowa Health Care’s Environmental Services is seeking a Custodian to maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, guests, visitors and staff on campus in Iowa City.

This full-time role includes multiple shifts with weekend work, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants should have cleaning experience and the ability to work in a healthcare setting.

Characteristic Duties And Responsibilities

Position may have Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Risk.

This position is performed fully on campus.

We as a department are responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of over 2.8 million square feet of the hospital. The department provides support through 24/7 operations.

Monday – Friday 5:00 pm to 1:30 am with every 4th weekend and holiday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

Salary:

$17.66/hour
