Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a diligent janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness in vessel and pavilion areas. You will sweep, mop, polish, dust, vacuum, and collect trash with a range of cleaning equipment.

Climb ladders, carry supplies, and assist with rest room sanitation to ensure a safe, welcoming environment. Comfort with lifting up to 25 lbs and a basic understanding of customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, polish, clean, scrub, dust, vacuum, and collect trash.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as extractors, stripping/buffing machines, backpacks and walk-behind vacuums.
• Disinfect rest rooms and fixtures; keep supplies stocked.
• Wash walls, doors, windows, mirrors and equipment.
• Climb and work from a ten-foot ladder; extensive walking during shifts.

Job Description

Responsible for the cleanliness of the vessel and pavilion areas.

• Sweep, mop, polish, clean, scrub, dust, vacuum, and collect trash.
• Operate cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, extractors, stripping/buffing machines, backpack vacuums, walk-behind vacuums, and traditional vacuum cleaners.
• Use a variety of cleaning chemicals.
• Climb and work from a ten-foot ladder.
• Extensive walking during working hours.
• Pull large amounts of trash from garbage cans and empty mobile trash carts.
• Cleans and disinfects rest rooms and fixtures; keeps rest rooms supplied with towels, soap and other supplies as needed.
• Washes walls, doors, windows, mirrors and equipment.
• Performs all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Understand importance of customer service.
• Operate equipment listed above.
