Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a custodian to maintain cleanliness of the vessel and pavilion areas. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and trash collection.

The role requires operating extractors, stripping/buffing machines, backpacks and walk-behind vacuums, and using a variety of cleaning chemicals. A ten-foot ladder may be used and extensive walking is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Understand importance of customer service.
• Operate cleaning equipment listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, polish, clean, scrub, dust, vacuum, and collect trash.
• Operate cleaning equipment including extractors, stripping/buffing machines, backpacks vacuums, walk-behind vacuums, and traditional vacuum cleaners.
• Use a variety of cleaning chemicals.
• Climb and work from a ten-foot ladder.
• Extensive walking during working hours.
• Pull large amounts of trash from garbage cans and empty mobile trash carts.
• Cleans and disinfects rest rooms and fixtures; keeps rest rooms supplied with towels, soap and other supplies as needed.
• Washes walls, doors, windows, mirrors and equipment.
• Performs all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
