TH Highlands Sports Complex is seeking a Custodian to join the Operations team. The ideal candidate will perform cleaning and sanitizing of offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, with flexibility to take on routine and special cleaning tasks as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work various shifts and adapt to emergencies, and the capability to work with minimal supervision. This is a part-time position at Highlands Sports Complex in Triadelphia, WV.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Custodian. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Custodian will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the office paces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn competitive pay.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Remove garbage and recycling daily
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years janitorial experience

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
• Pushing/pulling/lifting 50 lbs.
• Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time
• Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. ladders, lift for scoreboards, etc.)
• Facility has intermittent noise
