Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking General Cleaners to support cleaning and maintenance across educational facilities. Duties include sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, window washing, and trash removal. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently.

High school diploma is preferred; prior cleaning experience is a plus. Multiple shifts including school hours and summers are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean restrooms and locker rooms.
• Clean windows, desks, walls, fixtures; empty trash and recycle.
• Follow directions from custodial supervisor; work as part of a team.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; withstand temperature changes.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas.
