Job summary

GRBS Inc. in East Lansing, MI seeks a dependable custodian to join our team for evening shifts at Haslett schools.

The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining facilities with consistent attendance, following established GRBS procedures, and respectful communication with staff and students. You will mop, dust, clean restrooms and remove trash, with a schedule Monday–Friday plus one weekend per month, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, totaling 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Team player, dependable, self-motivated.
• Reliable transportation to and from work each day.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS Process.
• Communicate with respect to all.
• Finish the job to the building map and shift.
• Mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash.
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned.

When and Where is the job located:

We have the following custodian opportunity available in Haslett

• Monday - Friday and working 1 weekend a month
  • 3pm-11:30pm
  • 40 hours per week
• Core Responsibilities:
  • Come to work consistently
  • Follow GRBS Process
  • Have mindful communication with respect to all
  • Finish the job to the building map and shift

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

What does this job look like:

We serve our public school customers by completing the following tasks:

• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• As well as other cleaning task as assigned
