MERS Missouri Goodwill Fort Leavenworth is seeking a energetic Janitor to join our team. The role supports our mission by maintaining clean, safe spaces across our sites and interacting professionally with customers and vendors.

No degree required; High School Diploma preferred. The position is full-time, hourly pay at $17.75, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO, paid holidays, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read simple signs and instructions.
• Lift various weights, stand for extended periods, and tolerate extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of various types at assigned site.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and commuters.
• Lift and operate standard janitorial equipment and supplies.
• Sweep and mop floors with motorized equipment.
• Dust with rag and extension tools.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaner.
• Wax and polish floors.
• Handle waste and clean up spot spills as needed.
• Full duties as assigned.
