Job Title: Custodian Evening (Part-Time) (2806)

Position details:

• Pay range: $16.00/hr (fixed)
• Schedule: Evenings, Monday to Friday, 5.75 hours per day
• Benefits: Includes 1 personal day, paid sick time, and retirement benefits

Reports to: Building Principal

Position Objective

The Custodian maintains building and grounds in optimal condition for all stakeholders.

Essential Functions

• Empties trash in all classrooms, bathrooms, offices, and lounges
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, soap holders, paper towel holders, and toilet dividers
• Cleans all mirrors
• Wet mops bathrooms
• Cleans water fountains
• Vacuums classrooms and mats
• Dust mops hallways and gym floors; uses floor machine as needed
• Cleans up after school activities
• Locks doors and windows
• Communicates with head custodian regarding repair and maintenance needs

Additional Functions

• Buffs floors as needed
• Dusts rooms, hallways, and bathrooms as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
