Job summary

University of Southern California in Los Angeles is hiring an Entry Custodian to join the Facilities Planning & Management team. You will perform standard cleaning tasks, maintain restrooms and common areas, and help keep facilities safe and orderly.

The role requires minimal custodial experience, ability to work independently, and basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety practices. Training and career development opportunities are provided through USC's Pay for Skills program.

Qualifications

The Custodian, Entry:

Performs standard custodial procedures as required. Determines need to repair and/or replace equipment and supplies. Participates in the Custodial Pay for Knowledge and Skills Program including on-the-job training. Performs all appropriate level tasks and demonstrates proficiency as outlined in the Custodial Pay for Skills section, independently or as part of a team, as assigned by the supervisor. Trains custodians and other employees on specific skills and tasks as required.

Hourly Range

The hourly range for this position is $18.75/hr.
