The City of Medford is looking for a dependable, hardworking Day Porter Custodian to help keep the Rogue Credit Union Community Complex (Rogue X) clean, safe, and welcoming. This part-time, year-round position is a great opportunity for someone with custodial experience who enjoys staying active and working in a busy, public-facing environment.
At Rogue X, no two days are exactly the same. You will help maintain locker rooms, restrooms, meeting and party spaces, respond to spills and other immediate cleaning needs, empty trash throughout the facility, and help keep things running smoothly during busy sporting events, celebrations, and everyday activities. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable adjusting priorities when something needs attention.

The anticipated hiring range for the Custodian position is $21.94 (first step) to $23.04 (second step) or $24.19 (third step). The City of Medford determines starting pay based on an evaluation of relevant education, experience, and qualifications as provided by the applicant in their application materials, alongside others who perform work of comparable character consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay Act. Six steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
