Job summary

AFFTON SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Custodian (Day) at Gotsch Intermediate School in Affton, Missouri. This 40-hour-per-week, 12-month position includes district-provided benefits such as health, dental, life and vision insurance.

Starting rate is $16.74 per hour, with like-experience-based placement on the pay schedule. The incumbent will help provide students with a safe, clean, efficient and comfortable learning environment.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position.
• Ability to safely operate custodial equipment.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to read & interpret documents such as operating & maintenance instructions, procedures, safety rules, etc.
• Willingness to complete job-related training.

ANTICIPATED START DATE : Immediately Upon Hire

DETAILS : 12-month support staff position with district-recognized holidays and paid sick and personal leave. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position, with a district provided benefits package that includes employee health, dental, life and vision insurance.

LOCATION : Gotsch Intermediate School

COMPENSATION : According to the2026-27 Support Staff Pay Schedule , placement within the range is based on like experience. The starting hourly rate for this position is $16.74.
