Job description

Overview

Ensure that the facility is clean to the highest standard and is able to function without interruption on a daily basis. This position pays $13/hr.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down for special events/programs.
• Maintain cleaning and sanitation techniques while utilizing and operating commercial equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of building and property.
• Perform building and maintenance repairs as requested.
• Assist in driving The Salvation Army’s vehicles for supplies, equipment, or service as assigned.
• Assist, as needed and requested, in the Christmas effort including kettles.
• Takes pride in work and in the cleanliness of the building.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License and be able to drive for The Salvation Army.
• Must have prior maintenance/janitorial experience.

Special Skills, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and appropriate intervention skills required.
• Strong knowledge of available resources required.
• Must be passionate about the Mission of The Salvation Army and the Vision of the Cleveland Temple Corps.
