Job summary

LCI is seeking a Custodian for our Hazlehurst, MS location. This on-site role performs cleaning of rooms and halls, replenishes supplies, hangs drapes, rolls carpets, and maintains lobbies, restrooms, and corridors.

You will sweep, mop, wax floors, dust furniture, wash walls and windows, empty trash, and report repairs. Requires at least one year janitorial experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent; Monday to Friday schedule 7:15 AM to 3:40 PM.

Qualifications

• One year experience in janitorial or light building maintenance; or, combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• To keep assigned building interiors clean and orderly; to perform variety of custodial and minor building maintenance duties. Assigned to corporate office primarily.
• Sweeps, scrubs and mops floors.
• Strips, waxes, buffs and seals floors as directed.
• Vacuums and cleans rugs.
• Cleans bathrooms, walls, fountains, windows and replenishes supplies.
• Empties trash from assigned offices.
• Reports necessary repairs to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
