Schedule: 12 months / 8 hours per day / 5 days a week

Description

This person will be responsible for general cleaning of building facilities, minor maintenance, repairs, upkeep of floors and lavatories, and snow removal as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of general cleaning procedures such as dust mopping, damp mopping, wall cleaning, carpet shampooing, and univent filter cleaning. Ability to operate tools including rotos, high-speed buffers, wet/dry vacuums, upright vacuums, power mowers/trimmers, shovels, etc. Ability to lift objects, unload trucks, move furniture and school equipment; perform minor repairs and maintenance; recognize and correct safety or maintenance problems.

Characteristics/Traits: Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance. Work well as part of a team. Prioritize safety for students, staff, and the public. Show willingness to learn, adapt to change, be dependable, prideful in work, friendly, and cooperative. Be available to respond to emergency calls.

Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in similar housekeeping roles, either private or public, is preferred.
