Job summary

The Custodian position with Coca-Cola UNITED involves maintaining the interior cleanliness and orderly condition of our Tennessee Valley facility. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas to support a safe, welcoming environment.

We value reliability, good attendance, and the ability to follow instructions. Prior janitorial experience is preferred; a strong safety mindset is essential for daily operations and equipment handling.

• In the event of drivers, to have a good MVR

• Must be able to use/control all equipment in the department

Responsibilities

• Keeps interior of facility clean and orderly
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor
• Dusts furniture and equipment
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills
• Empties wastebaskets
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area
• Replenishes bathroom supplies
• Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall

Job Description

The Custodian is responsible for keeping the interior of facility clean and in orderly condition.

What Your Day Will Look Like

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
