Location: Bow Elementary-Middle School
Salary: $16.71/hr
Reports to: Lead Custodian
Bargaining Unit: AFSCME
Benefits Eligibility: Yes
Telecommuting Eligibility: Site-based. Not eligible for telecommuting
Position Summary
In accordance with the Agreement between American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the Board of Education of the School District of the City of Detroit, the following vacancy is announced:
DPSCD is seeking an experienced individual to fill the above-stated 52-week custodian position. The individual must have a strong desire to assist the District in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students across various school locations.

Internal applicants do not need a new background check unless role requirements change. External applicants will undergo a criminal background check upon hire.
