Job summary

GRBS Inc. is hiring for a full-time 3rd shift custodian at Wayland High School. The role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and school community standards.

You will perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, and trash removal while following GRBS processes and maintaining a professional demeanor with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
• Michigan public schools regulations restrict employment for individuals with theft, violence or drug-related backgrounds.
• Ability to work full-time on 3rd shift (Mon–Fri with one weekend per month) and 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Attend work consistently and follow GRBS processes.
• Communicate mindfully and respectfully with all team members.
• Complete cleaning tasks according to building maps and shift requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning duties: vacuum, mop, dust, clean restrooms, remove trash, and other assigned tasks.

When and Where is the job located:

We have the following full time 3rd shift custodian opportunity available at Wayland High School:

• Monday-Friday
• 1 scheduled weekend per month
• 10:00pm-6:30pm
• 40 hours per week

Pay Rate:

$16.00/hour

Core Responsibilities:

• Come to work consistently
• Follow GRBS Process
• Have mindful communication with respect to all
• Finish the job to the building map and shift

What does this job look like:

We serve our public school customers by completing the following tasks:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• As well as other cleaning task as assigned
